We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, fitment references, and specifications are accurate. However, customers acknowledge that:
- Product images may be for illustration purposes only
- Manufacturers may update or revise products from time to time
- Packaging, hardware, connectors, trims, finishes, or included components may vary
- Minor cosmetic or supplier-side revisions may occur
- Colours, finishes, logos, or design details may differ slightly from product images
Where changes do not materially affect the intended use or core compatibility of a product, this shall not automatically constitute an incorrect item. If a product materially differs from what was ordered, customers must notify us promptly so that we may investigate and provide a fair resolution.
Vehicle compatibility references on Bodykit.co.za are provided as a guide based on available supplier and manufacturer information. Customers remain responsible for confirming:
- Correct year model
- Vehicle trim level
- VIN-specific differences
- Facelift vs pre-facelift
- LHD / RHD differences
- Regional market variations
- Sensor / camera compatibility
- Lighting compatibility
- Amplified / non-amplified
- Factory-installed options
Certain products may require professional installation, wiring adjustments, coding or programming, paint preparation, trimming, bracket modifications, calibration, or body shop work. Where installation is arranged through Bodykit.co.za — either at our workshop or through a partner fitment centre — our team will assess these requirements as part of the fitment process.
Bodykit.co.za will reasonably assist customers with compatibility guidance where possible. Where customers arrange their own third-party installation, final fitment responsibility depends on accurate vehicle information being supplied by the customer to the installer.
Many products sold by Bodykit.co.za are imported, supplier-sourced, special-order items, or manufactured and sourced on demand. These commonly include facelift conversion kits, body kits, large bumpers, dashboards, steering wheels, lighting systems, and oversized automotive accessories.
Important: Because these products are often ordered specifically for customers, orders may not be cancelled once supplier processing has commenced. Returns may be limited where products are specially sourced. Any approved return remains subject to inspection and applicable costs.
Where applicable, Bodykit.co.za will work with customers to find a fair resolution in line with supplier and legal obligations.
Many imported products are shipped via international freight, including sea freight from China to South Africa. Estimated delivery timelines are provided as guidelines only.
Delays may occur due to supplier delays, port congestion, customs inspections, weather disruptions, public holidays, vessel schedule changes, or logistics provider delays. Bodykit.co.za will communicate updates where reasonably possible but cannot guarantee delivery dates for circumstances outside its control.
All prices displayed are subject to change without notice due to exchange rate fluctuations, supplier pricing changes, freight changes, import cost changes, or stock availability changes.
If a paid product becomes unavailable, Bodykit.co.za may offer an alternative, store credit, or a refund of the amount paid. Customers will be contacted where practical.
Orders may require full payment, a deposit payment, or a balance payment before dispatch. Orders are processed only once payment reflects.
Where installation services are booked, a separate installation fee may apply and will be confirmed in writing prior to the fitment appointment. Bodykit.co.za reserves the right to cancel unpaid orders after a reasonable period.
If a product supplied materially differs from the confirmed order, Bodykit.co.za may — after inspection and verification, at its discretion — replace the item, supply an equivalent item (with customer approval), offer store credit, or refund the product purchase value.
Customers must report incorrect supply before any of the following: Installation • Painting • Wiring • Coding • Modification • Use. Claims reported after these steps have been taken may not be eligible for resolution.
Where installation is booked through Bodykit.co.za, our team will verify the product against the order prior to fitment commencing. This does not waive the customer's obligation to review and confirm the product before installation begins.
Liability for incorrectly supplied items is limited to the product purchase value only, except where consumer law provides otherwise. Installation fees paid for fitment of an incorrect item will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Customers must inspect deliveries as soon as reasonably possible. If there is visible shipping damage, missing items, incorrect items, or packaging damage, customers should:
- Notify the courier immediately
- Take photographs of the packaging and contents
- Notify Bodykit.co.za within 48 hours of delivery
Late claims may significantly affect your resolution options. Please inspect all deliveries promptly upon receipt. Where product is being delivered directly to a workshop or fitment centre, the receiving party must inspect on arrival.
- Incorrect item supplied
- Manufacturing defect confirmed
- Product damaged in transit (properly reported)
- Qualifying consumer rights
- Installed products

Approved non-defective returns may attract up to a 15% restocking fee. Shipping and courier costs are generally non-refundable unless legally required or where Bodykit.co.za is at fault. Installation fees are non-refundable once fitment work has commenced, except where the product is confirmed defective or incorrectly supplied.

Installation terms: A separate installation quotation will be provided prior to booking. Installation fees are confirmed in writing before fitment commences. Fees are non-refundable once work has begun, except where a product is confirmed defective or incorrectly supplied by Bodykit.co.za.
Where installation is performed by a partner fitment centre, that centre operates as an independent service provider. Bodykit.co.za coordinates the referral and product supply but the fitment centre's own workmanship terms apply to the labour performed. Bodykit.co.za is not liable for errors, damage, or delays caused by independent fitment centres beyond our reasonable control.
Customer-arranged installation: Where a customer chooses to use their own installer rather than our workshop or partner network, Bodykit.co.za accepts no responsibility for third-party installation errors, improper fitment, damage caused during installation, or any costs arising from such work. In these cases, all product warranty and return conditions relating to installation still apply.
Warranty applies only where specifically stated. Warranty does not cover:
Where installation is performed by Bodykit.co.za or a partner fitment centre, any workmanship-related warranty queries should be raised with us directly. Warranty claims may require inspection, testing, supporting evidence, and return of the product. Product warranty outcomes may depend on manufacturer or supplier terms where applicable.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bodykit.co.za shall not be liable for indirect damages, consequential damages, loss of income, loss of profits, vehicle downtime, paint or body shop costs, travel or accommodation costs, third-party service costs, or delays caused by suppliers, couriers, customs, or logistics providers.
Where liability is established — whether for product supply or installation services — it shall generally be limited to the value of the product or installation fee paid for the specific item or service in question, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Bodykit.co.za shall not be liable for delays or failure caused by events outside its reasonable control, including port congestion, shipping disruption, government restrictions, customs action, supplier shutdowns, strikes, weather events, natural disasters, cyber incidents, or transport disruption.
Customers agree not to hold Bodykit.co.za liable for losses arising from vehicle-specific compatibility issues not disclosed, third-party modifications, improper use, or failure to follow installation or usage guidance. Where installation is performed by a customer's own installer and not through Bodykit.co.za or our partner network, the customer indemnifies Bodykit.co.za against any claims arising from that installation.
This clause does not override consumer rights provided by applicable South African law.
All website content — including images, branding, logos, product descriptions, graphics, and design elements — remains the property of Bodykit.co.za unless otherwise stated. Unauthorised reproduction is prohibited.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to South African jurisdiction.
